Akeju P.

Full-Stack Web, Mobile and AI Engineer

I build the systems businesses run on: AI agents, workflow engines, and the backends that keep them alive in production. Most recently I designed and shipped a workflow automation platform solo, a visual flow builder over a custom execution engine. Users drag nodes onto a canvas; the runtime executes them: triggers, conditionals, branching, timed delays, waits on external input, AI decision nodes, escalation to a human. 26 node types, REST API, real-time webhooks, multi-tenant sessions with health monitoring and auto-reconnect, per-account quotas, and a full audit trail of every action and the node that produced it. I mention the internals because that's where automation projects die. Anyone can demo a happy path. The work is in retries, reconnection, state that survives a restart, and knowing what the system does when the model gets it wrong. I also enforce hard rules below the flow layer an opt-out in that platform is honoured by the engine itself, so no misconfigured flow can override it. That's the difference between a demo and something you'd point at real customers. WHAT I BUILD AI agents and pipelines that survive contact with users LangChain and LangGraph agents, RAG over your own documents, document processing and extraction, n8n and Zapier workflows, integrations across CRMs, email tools and databases. Including the unglamorous parts: fallbacks, logging, cost control, and a clean path to a human. Backends and full products NestJS and Express APIs, Postgres/Supabase, auth and role-based access, payments, background jobs, webhooks, Docker, CI/CD. React and React Native on top when you need the front end too. Empty repo to deployed. Rescue work An inherited codebase nobody understands. A half-finished automation. An AI feature that demoed beautifully and fell over with real traffic. HOW I WORK You get a written plan before I write code — scope, approach, what I'd cut. Progress updates without having to ask. Code the next developer can read. And if your idea needs a smaller version first, I'll tell you before you pay me to build the big one. STACK TypeScript, Python · NestJS, Express · Supabase, PostgreSQL, PocketBase · LangChain, LangGraph · n8n, Zapier · React, React Native, Tailwind · Docker, REST APIs, CI/CD Tell me the process you want automated or the thing that's breaking. I'll reply with how I'd approach it and what it realistically takes before you hire me.
