M&A | Corporate Development | Financial Modeling | Valuation
Capital allocation, acquisition strategy, and valuation require coherent economic reasoning, disciplined judgment, and execution grounded in operating reality. My work focuses on developing investor-grade financial models, valuation frameworks, business cases, and board-level decision materials that support acquisitions, strategic investments, capital raises, and capital allocation decisions. Experience spans acquisition execution, valuation, diligence, capital allocation, and strategic finance across corporate development, private equity, and corporate operating environments. At Dell Corporate Development, I executed acquisitions across cloud and enterprise software, leading valuation, diligence, integration planning, and board-level investment materials under portfolio allocation constraints. Transactions required balancing strategic objectives, economic discipline, organizational alignment, and execution feasibility. In private equity environments, responsibilities included target identification, strategic assessment, valuation, due diligence, business case development, negotiation, and transaction execution. Earlier in Corporate FP&A, I developed profitability and performance frameworks used by executive leadership and the Board of Directors to evaluate business performance, resource allocation, and investment decisions. My approach begins with the underlying economics of the business. Revenue formation, market structure, competitive positioning, unit economics, margin architecture, working capital requirements, operating leverage, and capital intensity are evaluated individually before being integrated into a coherent financial and economic framework. The objective is not simply to build a model, but to determine whether an opportunity warrants capital deployment and under what assumptions. Representative engagements include: • M&A valuation and transaction support • Financial modeling and operating model development • Due diligence and investment evaluation • Corporate development initiatives • DCF, LBO, and strategic valuation analyses • Capital allocation and strategic finance • Investor presentations and board materials • Business case development • Scenario and sensitivity analysis Representative deliverables include: • 3-statement operating models • DCF and LBO valuation models • Acquisition and investment memoranda • Board and investor presentations • Capital raise support materials • Strategic alternatives analyses • Diligence frameworks and findings assessments • Operating and capital allocation plans Clients typically engage me when valuation assumptions require scrutiny, diligence findings require interpretation, capital deployment decisions require discipline, or financial models must clearly define the execution-risk-weighted path to value creation. The outcome is financially coherent, decision-ready analysis designed to withstand investor scrutiny, support executive decision-making, and provide a sound foundation for capital allocation.
