I build lead-response, quote follow-up, and renewal automation for insurance agencies and professional services firms. Three recent builds with evidence: A compliance consulting firm was losing leads that arrived in a Slack channel. I built Slack intake into Bigin CRM, an automatic templated email reply to the lead, and a sync that attaches the Fireflies call recording to the right pipeline record. Now, their leads are getting contacted right away, and nobody is falling through the cracks. A 4-person insurance agency runs on AgencyZoom, which has no native connector in n8n, Zapier, or Make. I built against their REST API directly: policy alert automations across five categories (non-payment, invalid payment, cancellation, missing documents, underwriting), service ticket creation from CSV uploads, inbound SMS auto-reply, voicemail auto-response, and a branded lead-capture page with TCPA consent capture. By responding to prospects instantly and following up, closing % has increased significantly, A B2B SaaS company needed its lifecycle email running. I built the Customer io campaigns, the Apollo outbound sequences, and the HubSpot and Calendly plumbing underneath them. Thousands of leads reached and hundreds of new customers. Common builds: Quote-to-bind follow-up. Renewal and retention cadences at 90, 60, and 30 days. Missed-call text-back and after-hours intake. Customer win-back sequences. Document extraction and reconciliation with a human review step. Stack Claude and n8n are my best friends (Zapier and Make too). Claude API and Python for document extraction and reconciliation. HubSpot, Bigin, Monday, AgencyZoom, Customer io. Twilio and RingCentral for SMS and voice. Webhooks and REST APIs for systems with no connector. Pretty flexible using anything with API documentation. How I work Fixed milestones when the scope is clear, hourly when it is not. The final milestone is always the system running live in your account with documentation.
