Hailey W.

At 16, I earned my GED and later completed two degrees, an experience that gave me firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities of nontraditional education. In 2016, I began learning ASL alongside my mother as she experienced hearing loss, which strengthened my commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and authentic storytelling. Since then, I have co-run Hands Up Silent Theatre, a nonprofit that promotes Deaf culture and builds bridges across communities. With over ten years of teaching and mentoring experience, I bring a student-centered approach to writing; crafting clear, compelling, and purposeful content that helps ideas connect and resonate.
