Designed out two mold slides (a budgetary $3-6k of tooling) and delivered a 5-star camera gimbal. Mechanisms and injection-molded parts in Fusion 360, checked the way a machine shop or mold maker will before you pay for tooling or prints. Rated 5 stars. • An injection-molded snap-fit housing: snaps at 0.74% strain against a 1.09% limit, and the undercut moved to a pass-through core so the tool needs no slides. • A 16:1 helical planetary gearbox, where I caught an undercutting 15-tooth sun gear and redesigned it. • A 1913 shop sketch, two photos of a part and a legacy inch drawing, each turned into a parametric model, with 12 of 14 photo-measured features within 1.7% of a standard size. • A patent-drawing client hired me three times in a row, 5 stars each. • A molding client under NDA has booked eight milestones since October, so some of my best molding work can't be shown.
