Stephanie S.

I’m an educational consultant and curriculum developer with experience designing, reviewing, and refining instructional materials that support strong teaching and meaningful learning outcomes. I specialize in K–5 English Language Arts and Math curriculum, with a focus on clarity, standards alignment, and thoughtful learning progression. My work blends classroom-informed pedagogy with clean, accessible writing to ensure materials are effective for both educators and students. What I Support: -Curriculum writing and adaptation (units, lessons, assessments, student materials) -Standards alignment and scope & sequence development -Curriculum review, revision, and quality assurance -Instructional clarity and plain-language editing -Teacher-facing resources and professional learning materials -Equity-minded instructional design I’m comfortable collaborating with subject matter experts, instructional designers, editors, and project managers, and I work well within structured timelines and feedback cycles. I’m also experienced navigating ambiguity and refining materials based on stakeholder or client input. My background in education allows me to approach curriculum from both a learner’s perspective and an educator’s practical reality. I’m especially mindful of how lessons flow, how skills build over time, and how instructional decisions affect student understanding and engagement. I enjoy working on projects that improve access to high-quality instruction and support educators doing important work in their communities. If you’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented partner to help strengthen curriculum or instructional content, I’d be glad to connect.
