Joseph S.

I'm a Software Engineer with 7 years of development experience and the founder of two businesses: a web agency and a two-sided event staffing marketplace. I've been on both sides of the table, so I know what it takes to deliver work that actually moves the needle for your business. What I build: Custom web applications (React, Next.js, TypeScript) Backend systems and APIs (Node.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Stripe Connect) Admin dashboards, multi-role portals, and real-time platforms Production apps shipped to the Apple App Store via Capacitor Why I'm different: Before becoming a developer, I spent 15+ years in hospitality and events, managing teams, operations, and customer relationships. That background means I communicate clearly, respond quickly, and genuinely understand what it's like to run a business. You won't have to chase me down or decode technical jargon. My flagship project is a live, two-sided marketplace with 75+ routes, Stripe Connect payouts, real-time messaging, and row-level security on every table. I've also shipped a customer support portal with a three-tier role system, audited and hardened an inherited codebase, and delivered MVPs that turned ideas into working products. Whether you need a custom web app, a platform with payments and user roles, or a technical partner who can take your idea from concept to launch, I'm ready to help.
