Hon Wing Y.

CTO & UX Director | Full-Stack Product Builder (Web, iOS, Flutter) I'm a UX Director turned CTO who designs and builds — the rare hybrid who can take a product from a blank Figma file to a shipped, live application without a handoff in between. My background sits at the intersection of design strategy and engineering (formal training in Design Strategy and E-Business from Hong Kong PolyU), and I've spent my career on both sides of the table: leading UX direction, then owning the full technical stack as a CTO across multiple real, revenue-generating businesses I help run. What that means for you: one person who can hold the product vision, make the design decisions, and write the code that ships it. What I do: • Product & UX strategy — research, IA, user flows, wireframes, end-to-end UX direction • Full-stack development — web apps, iOS/macOS (Swift/SwiftUI), cross-platform (Flutter) • Technical architecture & CTO-level advisory — stack decisions, build vs. buy, API integrations • Custom tools & automation — internal apps, browser extensions, AI-assisted workflows I work across English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese, and operate between Tokyo and Hong Kong — useful if you need someone who can bridge Western and Asian markets. I take an owner's view of every project, because I build the same kinds of tools for my own companies. If you want a single, senior partner who can think strategically and still deliver the work, let's talk.
