My native town is fast evolving as an urban conglomerate. I saw old wood-frame houses being dismantled to make way for modern high-rises. From observing these activities, I became interested in learning about the construction of ancient and modern buildings. The construction site prominently displayed the names of the architects of the new buildings. Their handiwork was impressive enough to make me want to become an architect. My work focuses on the relationship between urbanism and landscape architecture. My work on hospitality, land planning, parks, mixed-use, and urban development has built upon my multidisciplinary education in Landscape and Urban Design and Architecture. I consider myself fortunate to have worked on projects located in countries, including Egypt, the Caribbean, Mexico, India, China, and the United States. Throughout my travels and working on these inimitable destinations globally, I have increased my appreciation for diversity awareness and enriched my global development perspectives.
