Product & Industrial Designer | CAD, Electronics, Prototyping & DFM
From Idea to Production 💡 Idea → ✏️ Concept → 🧩 CAD → 🛠 Prototype → ✅ Validate → ⚙️ DFM → 🏭 Production I turn product ideas into functional prototypes and manufacturing-ready products. As a Product & Industrial Designer, I help startups, inventors, and businesses move from early concept to production through SolidWorks CAD, mechanical product development, prototyping, DFM, electronics integration, and manufacturing support. Over the past 7 years, I have contributed to 100+ product designs across consumer products, IoT devices, electronics, home & kitchen products, fitness equipment, pet products, and industrial equipment. One product I helped develop, Kühler, went on to raise approximately $58,000 on Kickstarter. My work goes beyond delivering a CAD model. I focus on solving the engineering and manufacturing challenges that determine whether a product can actually be built, assembled, tested, manufactured, and scaled successfully. Core Product Development Services ✔ Product & Industrial Design ✔ Mechanical Engineering & Product Development ✔ SolidWorks 3D CAD Modeling ✔ Consumer Product Design ✔ Functional Prototyping & Design Validation ✔ Plastic Part Design & Injection Molding DFM ✔ CNC Machining & Sheet Metal Design ✔ Electronics Enclosures & PCB Integration ✔ PCB Design, Component Selection & Firmware Development ✔ Technical Drawings, GD&T, BOMs & Tech Packs ✔ DFM & Manufacturing Documentation ✔ Supplier & Manufacturing Support ✔ Product Renderings, Packaging & Launch Visuals Before committing to expensive tooling or production, I work to identify the issues that typically create delays, redesigns, and unnecessary cost, including mechanism feasibility, ergonomics, tolerances, assembly, material selection, part count, electronics integration, and manufacturing constraints. With access to in-house prototyping and electronics development, designs can be physically built, tested, and refined before moving into production rather than developed entirely around assumptions. Depending on the project, deliverables may include: Mechanical: Editable SolidWorks files, STEP/STL files, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, GD&T, BOMs, exploded views, DFM documentation, functional prototypes, and production-ready CAD. Electronics: System architecture, schematics, PCB design and layout, Gerber and fabrication files, electronics BOMs, component selection, firmware/source code, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing integration documentation. What You Get ✔ A product engineered for real-world use, not just a good rendering ✔ Fewer design and manufacturing problems before tooling ✔ Practical engineering decisions backed by testing and validation ✔ Manufacturing-ready CAD and technical documentation ✔ Clear communication throughout development ✔ Support from concept through prototype and production Whether you have a rough product idea, sketches, reference images, existing CAD, or a prototype that needs refinement, send me what you have. I’ll help you identify the most practical path to turn it into a functional, manufacturable, market-ready product.
