Most people find me because their numbers don't match. Shopify says one thing, GA4 says another, and Meta is taking credit for both. Someone has to sit down and work out why, and that's usually me. I'm a tracking and attribution engineer. In plain terms, I make sure every sale, lead and booking gets recorded properly, traced back to the ad or channel that started it, and reported somewhere your team actually trusts. When something breaks I go after the real cause instead of patching the symptom, and I write it all down so you're not stuck depending on me. A few recent ones: • A WooCommerce store was missing about $17k of revenue in GA4. Two problems were stacked on top of each other: Site Kit was quietly excluding logged-in customers, and a custom thank you page meant the purchase event never fired. Fixed both, then checked the order IDs matched one by one. • A two-store Shopify brand closed a lot of sales over WhatsApp and phone, so their best customers showed up as "Direct" and the ads got no credit. I built first-touch capture into their CRM and now send those offline sales back to Google Ads and Meta. • A store's GA4 dropped from catching 95% of orders to under a quarter, and nobody had touched GTM. Matching transaction IDs against orders hour by hour showed the drop lined up with a change on the checkout, not the tags. • Reporting that pulls GA4, Google Ads, Meta, Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon and Klaviyo into one Looker Studio dashboard, so nobody spends Monday morning copying numbers into a spreadsheet.
