Financial Modeling & Valuation | Startups, VC/PE | Stanford MBA

I build financial models for investment decisions, acquisitions, and fundraising: LBOs, valuations, GP/LP waterfalls, and three-statement operating models. I support private equity and venture capital investors, independent sponsors, and founders preparing for a raise. I'm a Stanford MBA and former BCG consultant with a Duke BS in Mathematics. I run an independent strategic finance practice and serve as an Associate Director at Nassau Street Partners, where I lead financial due diligence and transaction analysis on live lower-middle-market engagements. My modeling work includes: • PE and acquisition models: LBOs, sources and uses, integrated debt schedules, working capital, and exit scenarios that show the drivers of investor returns. • VC and fundraising models: revenue and hiring plans, cash runway, capital requirements, and scenario analysis. For SaaS businesses, this includes cohort analysis, net dollar retention, and ARR bridges. • Fund and investor economics: GP/LP financial models, distribution waterfalls, and return sensitivities. • Valuation and diligence: valuation and SOTP models, operating-model review, revenue quality, and working-capital analysis for investment committee discussions. • Investor and lender materials: decks and financing packages that reconcile to the underlying model. My Upwork work includes five-star engagements in GP/LP fund financial analysis, investor-ready operating models, and market valuation. At Red Ventures, I built the projections and business case for a digital health product that grew to $15M in annual revenue. I build models around the assumptions that matter to the decision, with clear inputs, integrated schedules, and downside cases you can explain to an investor or lender. I can build from source financials or review and repair an existing workbook. Send me the transaction or fundraising context, your existing model or financials, and the deadline. I'll help define the scope and the questions the model needs to answer. I walk you through the finished model so you can use and update it confidently.
