Julia B.

Hi, I'm Julia! I'm a proofreader and editor with professional experience working on both traditionally published and self-published books. I also have editorial experience from my time as a content writer/editor for a self-publishing website and am a passionate reader and writer of fiction. From a final polish before publication to an in-depth line edit, I tailor my editing to your manuscript's needs while preserving your unique voice and message. I also provide beta reading with honest, constructive feedback on pacing, plot, characters, and style. Genres I've worked on professionally include fantasy, romantasy, horror, science fiction, and literary fiction. I edit with genre in mind, along with the recognition that an author's voice influences how readers connect with a story. My goal is for you to feel confident when your story gets into the hands of your readers. I can't wait to help you bring your ideas to life!
