I can incorporate chemical structures and equations into documents for technical presentations. I do number crunching where graphs are needed to clearly communicate the story of what data is telling us. I create PowerPoint slide decks for communicating project results to managers. My focus was optimizing chemical catalysts. Using a focused R&D lab testing process that minimizes unnecessary work, I figure out how to make catalysts work better, or work at all, creating potential for significant commercial value for clients. Often this has involved investigating feed impurities that cause catalyst deactivation, and study methods of removing impurities that improve catalyst life. I am the inventor or co-inventor on 24 issued U.S. patents and the author or co-author of numerous publications in chemistry journals, so technical writing and editing are strengths, and tasks I enjoy.
