AI Training Task Author|PhD Operations Research | CFD, FEM&Quant Model
PhD in Operations Research. I build and review quantitative models, and I author STEM and financial training tasks for frontier AI labs. Two things I do, and they reinforce each other. AI training task authoring and evaluation I write hard, verifiable tasks for AI training programmes: the prompt, the reference solution, and the grading rubric. Recent work includes computational fluid dynamics tasks built on OpenFOAM, where I wrote the solver case, a custom conformal mesher, and the scorer, then ran mesh-convergence studies to establish which quantities the grading could actually rely on. In one task the graded objective moved materially across refinement while pressure loss held stable to within 3×10⁻⁶, which decided what the rubric was allowed to measure. I have also built computational solid mechanics tasks phase-field fracture and a finite element solver with Mohr–Coulomb plasticity and a 10-year consolidated financial model with a full scoring rubric, alongside advanced mathematics problems with verified solutions. Much of that work is rubric quality: closing coverage gaps, making criteria verifiable instead of dependent on matching hidden answers, and separating what a task requires from how a solver happens to get there. The habit that matters most is measuring before committing. I have rejected my own task designs after sweeping the design space showed the trade-off I assumed was there did not exist. Quantitative modelling and analysis I help businesses and researchers make sure their models, forecasts, and analytical frameworks are technically sound, logically consistent, and genuinely decision-ready. That covers: Financial and model review. Evaluating DCF, P&L, cash flow, and forecasting models for structural flaws, logical gaps, and misalignment with real business logic. I stress-test assumptions, not just formulas. Economic research and forecasting. Building and reviewing forecasting frameworks using time series, ML ensembles, and econometric methods, applied to trade, macroeconomic, and industrial contexts across MENA and beyond. Numerical and simulation modelling. Finite element and finite volume solvers, system dynamics models, and optimisation over continuous and network spaces, including validation and convergence analysis. Strategy and decision analytics. Translating complex data into clear recommendations. Experienced with national development frameworks, sustainability indicators, and investment feasibility. Advanced methods. Text mining, network analysis, and operations research applied to policy documents, trade data, and large unstructured datasets. Sectors: manufacturing and industrial, financial services, economic policy, sustainability and ESG, engineering and scientific computing, academic research. My approach is simple. I focus on making sure your models and analysis are something decision-makers can actually rely on. If you need someone who can find what is wrong with a model, fix the logic, and deliver outputs you can confidently present, let's talk.
