3D CAD Industrial Designer Consumer Wearable 3D Product Designer

In my most recent project, I helped a watch brand founder overcome a roadblock in developing his collection by turning his wristwatch design into a detailed 3D CAD model and delivering the STL and STEP files he needed to move forward. I’m a 3D CAD Product Designer specializing in wearable products and consumer product development. I turn sketches, concepts, reference images, and ideas into functional 3D CAD designs ready for prototyping and manufacturing. My approach goes beyond creating a good-looking 3D model. I consider how the product will actually be used, assembled, prototyped, and manufactured from the early stages of development. I work on: • Wearable product design • Consumer product development • 3D CAD modeling • Industrial design • 3D CAD modeling • Product development • Mechanical product design • Injection-molded parts • Silicone and LSR products • 3D-printing and prototype development • Production-ready CAD • Technical drawings and manufacturing documentation I can work from a sketch, reference image, existing part, dimensions, or an early concept and develop it into a detailed 3D model. Depending on the project, I can also help prepare STEP, STL, and other CAD files for prototyping or manufacturing. For products involving plastic, silicone, wearable components, moving parts, or multiple components, I pay close attention to fit, clearances, wall thickness, part interfaces, assembly, and manufacturability. Typical workflow: Concept → CAD development → Design refinement → Prototype preparation → Manufacturing-ready files If you already have a concept and need someone who can turn it into a practical, manufacturable product, send me the idea, sketches, reference images, or existing CAD and I can assess the best way to develop it. I work across the full product development cycle from rough concept sketches to production-ready 3D CAD files with a particular focus on consumer goods and wearable devices. These categories come with their own set of constraints that general industrial design doesn't always account for: comfort against skin and body movement, ergonomics for repeated daily use, material behavior at small scale, and manufacturing tolerances that get unforgiving fast once you're dealing with anything wearable. I pay close attention to all of it, because the difference between a product that feels professional and one that feels like a prototype usually comes down to those details. What I typically help clients with: Translating a concept or sketch into a fully developed CAD model, ready to hand off to manufacturing Industrial design work that balances aesthetics with real production constraints and cost Redesigning or refining an existing wearable or consumer product for comfort, manufacturability, or cost reduction Design iterations and revisions, with quick turnaround so your timeline doesn't stall Clear, consistent communication you'll always know where your project stands How I work: You bring the idea, even if it's still rough or only half-formed. I ask the questions that clarify what actually matters for the product who's using it, how, and under what conditions then move into CAD modeling and iteration until we land on something that's both design-led and production-ready. I'm comfortable working from sketches, references, rough verbal descriptions, or existing products that need rethinking. Why clients keep coming back: Most of my work comes from people who don't just need a designer they need someone who treats their product like it matters, asks the right questions early instead of guessing, and doesn't go quiet between milestones. I bring that same level of attention whether it's a quick CAD fix or a full product developed from scratch. If you're building a consumer product or wearable device and want an industrial designer who's equally fluent in CAD and design thinking, I'd genuinely like to hear what you're working on.
