B2B Tech Product Marketing Strategist | Research, Positioning & GTM
I help early-stage B2B tech startups identify what their market actually cares about: what to lead with, what to leave out, and what to validate. Then turn that insight into positioning, messaging and GTM strategy. I don't start with content or channels. I start with the market. Before deciding how to say something, I work out whether it is worth saying at all. That means looking at the product, the buyers, the competitors and the buying context to answer questions like: ⢠Which customer segments should you prioritize first? ⢠What problem is important enough that they will act on it? ⢠Which parts of your product create real value for that audience, and which are just noise? ⢠What still needs to be validated before you spend money promoting it? ⢠How should you position against the alternatives already in the market? From there I translate the findings into a practical direction, and I can take it through to execution when that is useful: positioning and value proposition, messaging architecture, go-to-market strategy, website messaging and content structure, B2B content strategy, and the decks and materials the market actually sees. I work with technically complex products in mobility, embedded software, IoT, AI and B2B SaaS, and I have been on the founder side of one. That means I am comfortable getting into the product and challenging assumptions before recommending a direction. Clients tend to value that I research beyond the brief, understand the wider context and bring structure to decisions before moving into execution. If you are working out how to position a product, which market to prioritize, or what your audience actually needs to hear, send me the product, the target market and the decision you are trying to make. I will tell you where I would start.
