Urgent PHP Security Patch & Critical Error Fix for WordPress
Did your host just warn you about a critical PHP vulnerability? Is your website showing PHP errors, a white screen or a “critical error” message? Don’t wait and hope it goes away. This month, PHP confirmed two critical flaws, CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 (called PHP2Shell). On unpatched servers they can let attackers run code remotely, and attacks were reported within a day of disclosure. PHP released fixes in versions 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35. Sites on PHP 8.1 or older get no official fix and need to be upgraded. You shouldn’t have to decode server jargon while your business is at risk. I handle it for you, step by step, and I explain everything in plain English. I can help if you: Need someone to patch PHP or update it to a safe, supported version Have a PHP fatal error, “There has been a critical error on this website”, or a white screen Got a security warning from your host, Wordfinder-style scanner or Site Health Broke your site after a PHP update (plugin, theme or Elementor errors) Are stuck on an old PHP version (7.x or 8.0/8.1) and want a safe upgrade Run WooCommerce and can’t risk checkout going down How I work: Review. I check your PHP version, hosting type and current errors. Backup. Full site and database backup before I touch anything. Patch or upgrade. I update PHP, or confirm with your host that the fix is applied. Repair. I fix plugin, theme and Elementor errors caused by the new version. Test. Pages, forms, login, WooCommerce checkout and mobile view. Report. A short summary of what was done and what to watch. Basic safety check included: I look for common warning signs such as unknown admin users, suspicious files and strange redirects. If I find signs of a real compromise, I’ll tell you plainly and scope a cleanup as a separate job. To get started, send me: your website link, your hosting provider, and any error message or screenshot. I’ve been working with WordPress since 2021, with 100% Job Success and 5-star feedback on completed contracts. Message me with your link and I’ll tell you exactly where we stand and what it will take to fix.
