Old databases and desktop software nobody can open, fix or migrate anymore: SQL Server, Microsoft Access, FoxPro and Delphi or VB6 apps with no source code. I get the data out, move it somewhere modern, and can connect it to AI through custom MCP servers. Usually the vendor is gone or won't help, the original developer left years ago, and the last freelancer said it can't be done. The data is almost always still there. A recent case: a car rental company whose database was locked inside their vendor's software. I got the full database out remotely, delivered it as clean spreadsheets, and they came back and paid for a second phase. What I do: • Legacy database extraction and migration: SQL Server, Access, FoxPro and vendor-locked back ends moved to Excel, PostgreSQL or a modern stack • Fixes and changes to old Windows apps (Delphi, VB6, C++, .NET) when the source code is lost.
