My career reflects my passion and ability in communications. I have enjoyed immense success as a State Examiner, Chairperson, Teacher and Department Head. Whether it is presenting, writing historical pieces or editing the work of others; I approach each job with the aim of providing the maximum benefit to benefactors and in turn, producing something that I can be proud of. I have effectively led initiatives in curriculum development within schools and have also taken on the role as Chairperson of my teaching association group (2024- 2025). These roles allowed me to foster collaboration amongst fellow educators and have meant that we have been able to produce courses and materials that best serve the students and departments. I have enjoyed great success in these positions, due to my skills in leadership and project management. I have also been lucky to be able to apply these skills outside of my profession, in the voluntary role of youth coordinator and drama teacher, allowing me to further nurture the important trait of creativity, in young minds. I am a fully trained editor and examiner and I have spent a great deal of my time correcting essays, designing examination material and generating fair rubrics. In addition, I have gained three years of experience as one of only five examiners for the Irish State in the subject of Classics (2022- 2025). This has been invaluable to me in furthering my skills of analysis, with a focus on historic detail. As a naturally outgoing and driven person, with seven years of teaching experience, I'm eager to venture outside of the classroom and to leverage my skill set to help organisations to develop impactful educational programs or training solutions.
