Jacob G.

I am a dedicated and highly experienced educator with 7 years of teaching experience in history, politics, and social studies/humanities across secondary and further education settings. I specialise in helping students develop critical thinking, analytical writing, and a genuine passion for the humanities. As a Senior Examiner for a leading UK exam board, I possess in-depth knowledge of specification requirements, marking criteria, and examiner expectations. This role has sharpened my ability to prepare students effectively for high-stakes examinations, improve their exam technique, and consistently raise attainment. I bring this insider expertise directly into my tutoring and curriculum work, giving clients and students a clear advantage. My professional focus lies in three areas I am truly passionate about: - One-to-one and small-group tutoring – delivering personalised, results-driven sessions that build confidence and academic excellence. - Curriculum design – creating engaging, differentiated schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment resources that align with UK specifications (GCSE, A-Level, and International). - Educational writing – producing high-quality teaching materials, revision guides, mock exam papers, and subject content for schools, publishers, and online platforms. I combine strong subject knowledge with a clear, supportive teaching style that helps students not only achieve their target grades but also develop a lifelong interest in the subjects. Whether you need expert tutoring, bespoke curriculum resources, or professional educational writing, I deliver reliable, high-standard work that meets your exact requirements and deadlines.
