Nigel S.

I build fast, modern websites and rebuild slow ones that are losing you visitors and search rankings. Most of my work is full-stack. I handle the whole system, from the database and server logic to the front end, so the site is solid all the way through, not just on the surface. My current specialty is building lean, fast sites with Astro, and in migrating older or heavy WordPress sites onto something modern without losing your existing content or workflow. A few things I focus on that many developers skip: 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 — Sites that load in under a second. This isn't cosmetic. A slow site loses visitors and ranks lower on Google. 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 — Sites that work properly for everyone, including people using screen readers or keyboard navigation. It's the right thing to do, and it's increasingly a legal and SEO consideration too. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 — Beyond traditional SEO, search is shifting. A growing share of searches are now answered directly by Google's AI summaries and tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity, often without a click. Getting cited by those systems depends on a technically sound, fast, well-structured site. That foundation is exactly what I build. If you need a new site built properly, or an old one brought up to modern standards, send me your website address or a description of what you need, and I'll give you an honest assessment.
