Maiko E.

I am a Tokyo-based writer, and bilingual creative professional with experience in translation, screenplay writing, editing, and international communication. As a native Japanese speaker with strong English communication skills, I have worked on film productions, art projects, festival coordination, contracts, subtitles, and cross-cultural creative collaborations. I specialize in natural Japanese-English translation that preserves nuance, tone, and emotional meaning rather than producing overly literal text. In addition to translation work, I also offer creative writing, script editing, etc. My background in filmmaking and storytelling allows me to create writing that is both emotionally engaging and structurally clear. I am detail-oriented, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality work on time. I am especially interested in projects related to film, art, culture, philosophy, technology, and creative media.
