I'm an electrical and controls engineer specializing in embedded systems, real-time control, and signal processing. I build things that have to actually work, from adaptive vibration cancellation algorithms running on Raspberry Pi to autonomous rocket avionics deployed in flight. My background spans embedded Python and MATLAB, sensor integration, motor control, PID and state-space control design, Kalman filtering, computer vision, and data analysis. I've done this work in academic projects, two internships at United Launch Alliance, and as a lead engineer on competitive robotics and rocketry teams. What I do best: * Embedded Python and MATLAB development across controls, signal processing, simulation, and data analysis * Raspberry Pi and embedded Linux: sensors, actuators, real-time loops, I2C/SPI/GPIO * Control systems: PID, adaptive, feedforward, state-space * Debugging hardware-software interactions that aren't working and figuring out why * Signal processing, communications systems, and data pipelines in MATLAB or Python I'm responsive, communicate clearly, and won't take a contract I'm not confident I can deliver on.
