Rihards S.
Mechanical Engineer | SolidWorks | Sheet Metal, Weldment, 3D Printing
Mechanical engineer with a degree in machine design. I model parts in SolidWorks and deliver the files your fabricator or printer needs: STEP, STL, DXF flat patterns for laser cutting and bending, and dimensioned drawings with tolerances. I worked as a design engineer at Kärcher Technology Latvia, where I designed welded frames and made the production drawings the shop built from. I have also done metalwork myself and maintained automated production lines, so I know which details cost the shop extra time, and I design them out early. Most of my work is sheet metal parts, welded frames and enclosures for electronics. I run a small 3D printing business, so printed parts get a test print on my own machine before I send the files. For MJF and SLS nylon parts I plan for powder removal and flex in thin walls, because those processes behave differently from FDM. Send me a sketch, a photo of a broken part, an old drawing or a STEP file, and tell me how the part will be made. I will reply with what I need from you, a fixed price and a delivery date.
