HOMESCHOOLING IS PART OF OUR REAL LIFE I’ve been a homeschooling mom for years, so learning, exploring, cooking, field trips, hands-on activities, and family experiences are naturally part of our everyday life. That gives me an authentic setting for educational products, curriculum, learning apps, STEM activities, subscription boxes, books, cooking kits, homeschool resources, museums, attractions, travel, and family activities. NEARLY 10 YEARS OF REAL-WORLD MARKETING EXPERIENCE I bring something to UGC that goes beyond content creation: nearly a decade of experience marketing my own business. My husband and I started our music business almost 10 years ago from a single room in our home. What began there has grown into a thriving two-location music business, where we teach private music lessons and group music classes to children and adults. We’ve even expanded beyond our studios to create events and experiences, including ukulele cruise vacations for adults. I’ve been hands-on throughout that growth with social media, content creation, email marketing, paid advertising, branding, audience building, event promotion, customer communication, and selling both services and experiences. FOOD, COOKING & FROM-SCRATCH CONTENT Food is a big part of both my content and my real life. I regularly cook and bake from scratch for my family, including homemade breads and sourdough. I love taking viewers through the process: ingredients, preparation, product integration, cooking, beautiful food B-roll, and that all-important finished-dish reveal.
