Kelly V.

Let me guess. You've tried writing it yourself and stared at a blank page for 40 minutes. Or you used AI and got something technically correct and completely soulless. Or you have a draft that sounds nothing like you. That's exactly what I fix. I'm Kelly Jean, a freelance content writer and creative support partner for solo operators, coaches, therapists, speakers, and small business owners who need words that actually sound like them. A lot of people have tried AI for this. It writes fast. It just doesn't write like you. I take the time to understand how you think, how you talk, and what you're trying to say. Then I write it in your voice. WHAT I DO: Writing from scratch: newsletters, blog posts, website copy, landing pages, bios, one-sheets, and ghostwriting Repurposing: turning 1 long post into a week of social captions, a podcast into an email, a talk into an article Social media: captions, posts, and content calendars that actually sound like you Editing and transcription: proofreading, copy editing, tone consistency, and audio or video transcription Graphics: simple Canva visuals to go alongside your content And a little more: sometimes you need someone who can also organize a messy folder structure, build a simple tracker, or figure out what's falling through the cracks. I bring that too. WHY ME: I've spent 20 years being the person who figures it out, across corporate environments, live event production, and creative industries. The industry always changes. The problem never does. That's always been my job, whether it was in my title or not. I'm new to Upwork, so my rates reflect that. The quality of the work doesn't. Not sure if I'm the right fit? Send me a message anyway. If it's a good match, we'll know pretty quickly.
