I'm a Data Scientist with previous experience working as a quantitative researcher modeling large portfolios of student loans, credit cards, and other credit products for an alternative asset manager. I have experience working across the stack, from data engineering all the way to model development and live analytics. I'm currently pursuing my PhD in the area of Trustworthy AI and Probabilistic Programming. I have experience working with and actively researching specialized software such as JAX, Pytorch, Numpyro, GPytorch, as well as more standard Python data science tools, along with some experience in Rust. - Previous experience in buy-side quantitative research - Focused on outcomes over specific tools or technologies - Used to working on short timelines driven by specific business needs, as well as more open-ended long term research projects
