Curriculum Designer | Course Decks, Workbooks, Nonprofit Pitch Decks

A coach with a folder of notes, an educator with a course in her head, a nonprofit with a board meeting on Friday: I turn that raw material into slide decks, workbooks, and pitch decks, built on learning science and 13+ years in curriculum design. FOR COURSE CREATORS AND EDUCATORS ⊙ Slide decks for your course where every slide does instructional work, in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides ⊙ Workbooks, worksheets, and handouts that give learners real practice between lessons ⊙ Course and curriculum design, from a full program to a single module, built from your raw material ⊙ Content audits: I review what you already have and tell you what to fix and why FOR NONPROFITS AND MISSION-DRIVEN ORGANIZATIONS ⊙ Funder, partner, and board pitch decks that make your mission clear and your ask unmistakable ⊙ Program proposals that show a reader what their support will make possible HOW I WORK I design around three ideas. Retrieval practice has learners produce answers themselves, which is what makes them stick. Backward design traces every piece to something a learner should be able to do afterward. Clean visual design keeps the layout in service of the lesson. For a nonprofit pitch, I start with who will be in the room and what you need them to do, then build every slide toward that ask. I'm also a maker who can't leave a blank page alone, so my first move is to build something you can react to. BACKGROUND Most recently Senior Manager of Curriculum and Instruction at Milady, the publisher behind roughly 90% of U.S. beauty and wellness education, where I led strategy across seven licensure-aligned titles. Before that, four and a half years in K-12 edtech at Imagine Learning. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Learning Design and Technology from Harvard Extension School, and I've spoken at the CEA/AACS National Conference and the LIT Conference hosted by Empire State University on how adults retain what they study. Most of my professional work is covered by NDA. Some pieces below are self-directed builds that show the same methods on different subject matter; others are real collaborative work, shared with each client's permission. ➡️Tell me what you're working on and where you're stuck. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so.
