German-speaking WordPress developer. After my work on a manufacturer's bilingual WordPress site, the home page fully loaded on mobile in 6.3 instead of 23.2 seconds. I also checked over 1,000 old URLs there, and 375 of them now lead to the right page in a single step. The load time is my own measurement in Chrome, with the same method before and after. Since October that client has had me on monthly maintenance. (translated from German) Maintenance and repairs: monthly WordPress care with updates and backups, plus fixes for sites someone else built. I work with Elementor Pro and WPML. For it I built an interactive self-test with scoring logic and set up a Brevo newsletter with double opt-in. Technical SEO and speed: load time on mobile, redirects after a relaunch, structured data and Search Console. For the health blog I analysed 522 search terms from three months of Search Console data and rewrote titles and descriptions based on them. GEO, meaning visibility in ChatGPT and other AI search: on 21 October 2026 I reworked my own website for AI search. That evening, asked which web designer in Remscheid it would recommend, ChatGPT still named five other providers. Five days later it named my business second of four, and again the next day, with my own website as the source. In a GEO check I ask ChatGPT and Perplexity the questions your customers ask and show you with screenshots who gets named. I also check whether AI bots may read your site and whether your location and facts match everywhere. You get a report with the hours each fix needs. A single AI answer is a sample, so nobody can honestly promise you a specific result. Prototypes and automation with Claude Code, which I use practically every day: since September I have been building clickable prototypes of new modules for a provider of invoice and document management software. They are plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript in the client's design system, in German and English. Over 100 of my pull requests have been merged into the main branch. I work with Git and GitHub, since mid-October also with Jira, and test with my own Playwright browser scripts. In Python I wrote, among other things, a price monitor that checks 14 online shops every ten minutes across more than 78,000 items.
