Anne B.
Experienced Author and Editor with Ph.D. and Creative Writing M.A.
I was an English professor and successful author for 23 years. My work has appeared in peer-reviewed academic publications as well as on the cover of the New York Times Book Review, the Chicago Tribune's Top Ten Books of the Year list, and CBS Sunday Morning. As I transitioned away from academia to pursue my writing full time, I began coaching and editing other writers, helping them win prestigious grants, literary representation, and book contracts. I have experience as a writer and editor with academic and trade publishing and have a specialty in public scholarship, having won two Public Scholar Grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
