Over more than 25 years, I've worked as a journalist, communications agency co-founder, consultant, and senior institutional executive — building communications strategy for the World Bank Group's IFC (International Finance Corporation), and leading global external engagement for one of the world's largest humanitarian organizations, World Vision International. The throughline: using narrative, strategic relationships, storytelling, and institutional credibility to build influence, advance complex agendas, and bring governments, partners, and publics along. At IFC, I built the first-ever operations communications function, co-developed the institution-wide narrative and outreach strategy on technology for development, convened partners like Microsoft, AWS, Google, Airbnb and the Gates Foundation around a shared agenda on digital solutions for economic transformation in emerging markets, and helped position IFC as a leading voice in inclusive innovation. At World Vision International, I served as a senior external engagement executive, leading influencing and partnership strategy with the UN, the World Bank, governments, private sector and NGO partners globally— work that contributed to more than 1,000 policy shifts benefiting 335 million children annually. Earlier in my career, I co-founded Beyond Communication, a Madrid-based communications and content agency advising governments and businesses across Latin America, Africa and MENA on brand narrative and positioning, and producing tailored content. My career started in journalism, where I developed the editorial foundation that has shaped everything I've done since. I speak English and Spanish natively, with professional proficiency in French and Portuguese. I have lived and worked in 17 countries on five continents.
