Rakesh M.

I am a Senior Telecommunications Test Engineer with 5+ years of core domain experience specializing in 5G NR (SA/NSA), 4G LTE, cellular protocol stack validation, and live network integration. Having worked with industry leaders like Qualcomm and Nokia, I bridge the gap between rigorous lab validation and real-world field deployment. Core Technical Expertise: Field & Lab Execution: Hands-on expertise in both Lab Protocol Testing (3GPP validation, UE Simulators, QXDM log analysis) and Real-World Field Deployment (live Nokia LTE/5G gNB/eNB site provisioning, commissioning, and remote parameter configuration via Web Element Manager). Protocols & Architecture: 5G NR, 4G LTE, L1/L2/L3 Stacks (PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, NAS), NSA/SA Architecture, Cloud RAN, O-RAN. Log Analysis & Debugging: QXDM, QCAT, QUTS, Wireshark, Shannon Log Tool, XCAL. UE & Network Simulators: Real UE Testing, Airphone, Anritsu, ICESERVER, TOPCAT, TBS. Key Test Scenarios: Call Processing, Handover Scenarios (5G to 4G), Carrier Aggregation (CA), VoNR/VoLTE, Throughput Optimization, and Registration Workflows. Automation & Tools: Python Automation (pytest / Robot Framework), JIRA, Jenkins, Linux Environment. Open for Global Remote Contracts, Freelance Consulting, and WFH Opportunities. Let's connect to discuss how I can deliver value to your telecom projects.
