RF and high speed PCB designer with space industry experience. I take boards from schematic to manufacturing ready layout in Altium Designer and KiCad. As Electrical Designer I designed the schematics and layouts for 16 satellite PCBAs, from 4 to 20 layers, including payload backplanes, payload and umbilical interfaces, battery management, magnetometer and test hardware. I also designed and characterized polyphase buck converters for SoC power delivery, including PDN analysis, gain and phase margin measurements and radiation testing. That work taught me to design for reliability: derating, EMI and EMC, thermal and vibration, and layout to IPC 2221 and IPC 2141. I am currently working on AI power space situational single board computers with SL1680 AI Cortex SoC. As RF Test Engineer I characterized WiFi 6, 5G and IoT RF devices (PAs, LNAs and SAW/BAW filters), measuring S parameters, P1dB, IP3, noise figure, EVM and ACLR. I know how RF circuits behave on the bench, not just in simulation.
