Twenty years of web development, primarily on complex, long-running projects: decoupled CMS platforms, animation-heavy marketing sites, and production-grade AWS infrastructure, not one-off fixes. My longest engagements tell the story best: 12 years maintaining and rebuilding a crowdsourced music video platform (Drupal 5 to 8, React, AWS Batch, Flow blockchain NFT layer); a 10-year Drupal CMS for a major North American magazine; and a multi-service B2B platform for the Canadian music industry - Drupal 10 backend, Next.js frontend, 13 repositories, and 20+ AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, Fargate, SQS, Aurora RDS, and CloudFormation stacks. Front-end. React, Next.js, Astro, Gatsby, TinaCMS. For motion-heavy builds: GSAP ScrollTrigger for pinned scroll sequences, Three.js via @react-three/fiber for 3D, Lottie for vector animation, and CSS keyframes for performance-first motion. Apollo Client + GraphQL for decoupled data layers. CMS. Drupal 5 through 10: custom modules, migrations (D6 through D7 to D9), decoupled JSON:API and GraphQL APIs, Elasticsearch, and complex content modeling. Headless Drupal feeding Gatsby, Next.js, and Astro frontends. Infrastructure. AWS end-to-end: CloudFormation (nested templates, multi-environment, blue/green CodeDeploy), Lambda, ECS/Fargate, SQS queues, Aurora RDS, ElastiCache Redis, S3/CloudFront. Cloudflare Pages via GitHub Actions + Wrangler CLI. Mid-term ownership is how I prefer to work, but I'm equally available for shorter engagements when specific expertise is needed: animations, AWS infrastructure, or a decoupled CMS.
