Marek S.
PHP Engineer Covering Everything from Local Dev to Prod Kubernetes
A few reasons to hire me: * Unlike a lot of great developers, I know how important it is to keep an open communication channel. There's no topic I won't discuss (as long as I know something about it :) - My working hours are very flexible. I can usually be available with a couple of hours' notice (depending on the channel). * I started building web applications around 27 years ago. Along the way I've picked up exposure to plenty of fields outside computer science, so when you need more than a programmer -- someone who thinks logically and analytically -- I'm your guy. - Those 27 years also mean legacy work doesn't scare me. If you've inherited an aging PHP codebase, a jQuery-heavy frontend, or a classic LAMP stack that needs rescuing, maintaining, or migrating to something modern, that's familiar territory rather than a burden. * I'm not just writing code. I can take a project from local dev all the way to production: containerization, orchestration, autoscaling, zero-downtime deploys, secrets management, edge/CDN setup, GitOps pipelines. If you need someone who can ship and keep things running, I cover that side too. * I lean heavily on modern AI tooling (Claude and Codex day-to-day, Gemini when images are involved). It's a big part of why I can deliver fast without cutting corners on quality. * My rate may seem high, but I'm efficient and I spend that time purely on planning and development. I never charge for anything not directly tied to the project (e.g. filling knowledge gaps; there's always something to learn). In the end you're not just getting an efficient programmer (peace of mind), but also someone who'll help with the project in general. Even graphic design is less of a blocker than it used to be. It's still not my strong suit, but AI-driven workflows make decent visuals a lot more accessible these days.
