Hello! Nice to meet you here! :) I am Vidhya, born and brought up in India, currently living in Muscat. Let me begin with my interests and where i'd like to see me down the line professionally :) Writing had been my passion since my days as a student and also a favorite socializing / free time activity through all these years. I am now trying to focus on this and get it in the mainstream and open to taking up assignments on Article/blog/content writing, ghost writing, re-writing and guided meditation scripts. Nativity, Bilingualism and Language exposures: As a Tamil native, completed my studies in India with English as my 1st language and medium of study. Hence can read, write and converse in both these languages well. "What we sow, so we reap". I am a certified NLP coach and as an attempt of giving back to the society, conducted several free workshops (Programyourplane on Facebook) for the women and children while in India to help them live with confidence and resourcefulness. These are primarily in English and have variety of guided meditation sittings as a part, for which i self-write the scripts. These and the English articles spun for my WordPress and social media pages (out of interest) have given me a good grip in terms of grammar and flow of words. Can also read, write and speak Hindi having learnt it as a language and also lived in Mumbai for almost 10 years till 2018. Another area, apart from writing, that i would like to explore on Upwork is voicing over in English and Tamil. Now some academics and past work experience info: Academically, a graduate in Bachelor of Corporate Secretaryship and a post graduate in Financial Management, having 6 years of corporate experience and 6+ years of freelancing experience. While Front-end CRM, Web/Market Research and preparation of Related Summary reports, Abstraction based data entry and Personnel background screening were the areas of my work as a corporate, my freelancing career has so far seen inter-lingual translations and transliterations, article writing and re-writing, research and data Entry in English and Tamil.
