Over 20 years, I have designed and/or developed numerous websites and intranet applications, ranging from small businesses to global corporations. I am capable of full stack design and development, however my primary competencies are data design, software architecture, and functionality-driven UI/UX. On the frontend I specialize in jQuery and jQueryUI. On the backend, I am fully proficient in PHP, MySQL, Apache web server, and Linux system administration. I am familiar with many PHP-based CMS systems and frameworks, including Drupal, CodeIgniter, Laravel, and MediaWiki. I have many years of Git experience using GitHub and BitBucket, as well as managing multiple repositories on a private server. I have used many issue tracking systems, including BugZilla, Traq, and Jira; I use FlySpray for my personal projects. I primarily work in Linux. Past projects I have worked on include calendar/scheduling, warehouse inventory, real estate listings, medical patient checkin, project management, and numerous e-commerce sites. I am looking for mid- to long term projects that I can really sink my teeth into.
