AI Systems & Knowledge Architect | RAG, Agents, Reliability
I design and build AI systems that need to stay reliable after the demo: RAG and knowledge workflows, agent and tool boundaries, backend APIs, evaluation, observability, and handoff documentation. My strongest work sits at the intersection of applied AI and production infrastructure. At DialogTech, I led a zero-downtime Elasticsearch upgrade while continuous ingestion supported a platform processing roughly 10 million call minutes per month. At IBM, I worked on automation across 2,000+ servers and helped resolve Docker networking failures blocking firewall connectivity and automated provisioning. Through Hearth & Code, I build local-first knowledge-system prototypes and source-aware agent workflows with explicit permissions, stop conditions, review gates, and human handoff. The public workbench and open repositories show these methods at their actual maturity. I am a strong fit for: • RAG and internal knowledge architecture • Agentic workflow design with human approval gates • Backend, API, and integration architecture • Retrieval evaluation and failure-mode analysis • Technical audits, prototypes, and implementation-ready documentation I work best when the problem is ambiguous but the outcome must be concrete: map the workflow, identify evidence and risks, build the narrowest useful slice, test it, and leave the team with artifacts they can use.
