Jasmine K.
Frontend Engineer | React, TypeScript, JavaScript & Accessible UI
I build responsive, accessible and maintainable frontend applications with React, JavaScript and TypeScript. My web development journey started with Flash and moved through PSD-to-HTML, WordPress and WooCommerce. That background gave me a strong foundation in UI detail and usability that I now bring to component-based React development. What I do best: • React & TypeScript - Reusable components, hooks, routing, typed application logic and clean component structure • Responsive UI - CSS Modules and custom CSS with CSS variables for layouts that work across desktop, tablet and mobile • API & state integration - Connecting frontend to APIs and managing client/server state • Accessibility (A11y) - Semantic HTML, labels, ARIA where needed, keyboard focus and color contrast • Testing & QA - Unit and component testing, bug fixing and regression checks • Frontend performance - Lazy loading and debounced interactions where appropriate Tools: • React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 • CSS Modules, CSS Variables, Responsive Design • React Router, React Context, Zustand • TanStack Query, REST APIs, Supabase • Vitest, React Testing Library, ESLint/Prettier • Vite, Git/GitHub How I work: • I break interfaces into focused, reusable components rather than letting UI code become difficult to manage. • I pay attention to typography, spacing, responsive behaviour and interaction states, not just whether the feature technically works. • I treat accessibility and testing as part of development rather than something added at the end. • I communicate clearly and raise questions or trade-offs early. If you have a frontend that needs to be built, extended or polished, share the brief or existing codebase and I can help turn it into a reliable, maintainable UI.
