Device Integration Developer | C#/.NET, APIs | Serial, USB, TCP/IP
I make devices talk to software, and keep them talking. Right now I am IoT Architect for Haas Automation, the US CNC machine manufacturer. I built the async TCP server their machines report into over MTConnect: 40,000+ machines live, load-tested with 100,000 simulated machines, with alerts to mobile and email and reporting into SAP. I work on the software side of hardware: - Devices: payment and POS hardware, medical and sensor devices, industrial machines - Connections: serial (RS232/RS485), USB, TCP/IP, MQTT, Bluetooth - Delivered as: SDKs, Windows services and device servers, built to run unattended Recent and long-running work: - Haas Automation (2022 to now): IoT architecture, TCP platform for 40,000+ machines - Unotech Software (2022 to now): Windows credential provider for the logon screen - KG Investments (2023): thread-safe C# SDK for the Glory NMD-100 note dispenser - Canary Health (2020): breath analyzer, sensors to PC app, cloud and API - TBS (2016 to 2019): EzBooking library kiosks in 1,500+ branches - Collision Sciences (2015 to 2020): vehicle OBD-II link from serial to cellular - Vivotronix (2013 to 2018): VitaVue patient monitor, ECG at 1000 Hz Devices I have integrated: - POS: receipt and label printers (Epson, Zebra, TSC, Bixolon), barcode scanners - Payments: cash drawers, PIN pads, card and cheque readers, note dispensers - Industrial: weight scales, CNC machines (MTConnect), vehicle OBD-II - Identity and access: RFID readers (Impinj, NXP), fingerprint readers, signature pads - Medical and sensors: ECG, blood pressure and SpO2 modules, multi-sensor arrays - Communication: GSM modems, Zigbee and Bluetooth devices How I work: I start from your device manual and prove the first command works, then give you a test app to run on your own machines against the real hardware. Simulators for stress testing or early development, and watchdogs for clean recovery from hardware faults, come in when the project needs them. Fixed price or hourly, whichever suits your project. When the project grows into dashboards, portals or mobile apps around the device, my team at XEESOFT builds that part. Send me your device model and what you need it to do.
