I am a security-focused engineer with a 5.0 rating across 56 completed Upwork jobs and $10K+ in earnings. For the past several years my work has centered on application security. I spent 2.5 years as a Mobile Security Engineer at Xero Technology, and since 2023 I have worked as a freelance iOS application security consultant: running OWASP Mobile Top 10 assessments, designing secure authentication, and hardening data encryption and API communication for client apps, including a stock portfolio app serving more than 3,000 customers. On the defence side, I hold the SC-200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst), BTL1 (hands-on blue team), and Splunk Core Certified Power User certifications, along with CompTIA Security+ and Network+. I help with two kinds of work: 1. Application security reviews: mobile app security assessments, OWASP-based testing, reviews of authentication flows and data storage, and remediation guidance your developers can act on. 2. SOC-style monitoring support: alert triage, log analysis in Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel, incident documentation, and detection workflow support.
