Conference, Event & Group Travel Manager | 25 Years | Pharma, Tech

Planning a conference, a medical meeting, or a group trip where the details can't slip? I've been doing exactly that for 25 years. I run Globe Guides, a corporate travel and event logistics company. Clients bring me in when an event has a lot of moving parts: speakers and faculty flying in from several countries, hotel blocks to fill, exhibitors to manage, and long show days where someone has to stay calm and keep it all running. What I do • Conferences and corporate events: planning, budgets up to $5M, registration, speakers, vendors and onsite management • Pharma, healthcare and biotech meetings, built around the PhRMA Code and Sunshine Act reporting (HMCC, based on a Master's in Public Health). • Group, incentive and leadership travel, including VIP itineraries and complex international routing • Travel and logistics support for other planners, so your team can stay focused on the event A few examples • 50+ medical conferences, investigator meetings and advisory boards • Corporate, finance and tech programs, including client support at CES every January • Travel and event coordination for a South Asian corporate delegation at Davos, down to the menus • A 2,100 room-night group block contracted at Paris Las Vegas • Planned UNGA-week events for a leadership startup: a launch party and offsite lunches for political guests • A full virtual event workflow: registration, speakers, test run, live show and follow-up Why it goes smoothly • IATA-registered with direct Sabre access, so I book and fix travel myself • Nearly 3 million miles flown, Million Miler with both United and American, and a background at Delta Air Lines • Native English and Spanish, conversational Portuguese • For event promotion and outreach, I team up with my marketing partner, who brings a decade of marketing experience One more thing: I'm a classically trained cellist who has performed at Carnegie Hall, and I've planned choir and orchestra tours. Performing arts clients get someone who speaks their language. Tell me your event, dates and headcount, and I'll reply within a day with what I'd tackle first.
