Asaad M.

I take half-built and AI-built SaaS apps to production, build custom portals and web apps, and design and build SaaS websites in Webflow and Framer. $1M+ earned on Upwork across 160+ jobs, Top Rated Plus and Expert-Vetted. I was the first designer at Mattermost. Today I run The Small Square, an 18-person design and development team in Karachi. Designers and engineers work as one team, so what gets designed is what gets shipped. What clients hire us for: ▸ Taking an AI-built app to production. Your app started in Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or Manus and now needs auth, security, payments and real infrastructure. Next.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Stripe. ▸ Custom portals, CRMs and internal tools. Client portals, admin dashboards and operations platforms built around how your team works. ▸ SaaS websites, designed and built. Webflow or Framer, from Figma to launch, including migrations. Recent work, end to end: ▸ An operations CRM for a painting company, first built in Manus, taken into separate staging and production environments and live for the team. ▸ A security audit, bug fixes and a migration on a client's AI web app. ▸ DLVRD, a video delivery platform for filmmakers: branded, streamable client galleries instead of a Dropbox link and a file called FINAL_v7_2.mp4. It started as a Figma Make export and we took it to production: React and Node, an FFmpeg worker fleet, resumable multipart uploads, a cold-storage archive tier and Stripe billing. 1,000+ users. ▸ DoxOptima, the platform a dental clinic or lab runs its day on: patient records, lab orders, staff attendance and the books. Workflow engine, double-entry ledger, biometric attendance, and an Electron desktop build that keeps working offline. ▸ The AI safety layer for a production wellbeing app: seven output-guard detectors, retry policies, full telemetry, all tunable without a redeploy. ▸ SaaS marketing sites in Webflow and Framer, from a single homepage to 14+ page builds. Our own products, designed and built in-house: ▸ HalalAccounts runs a small business's back office: books, invoicing, payroll, time tracking and hiring in one place, with live bank feeds. 591 API routes, 94 data models, 240,000 lines of TypeScript, and an MCP server exposing the books to GPT, Claude and Gemini. ▸ Morket takes a founder's product URL and gives back a brand foundation, a weekly plan, and the SEO, social and blog work shipped. OpenAI and Anthropic behind one abstraction, RAG, an agentic tool loop and its own OAuth-secured MCP server. Stack: React, Next.js, Node, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Prisma, Redis, Docker, Stripe. Design in Figma, sites in Webflow and Framer. At Mattermost: design through the 2022 TrustRadius Best Of Award and the launch of Focalboard (Product Hunt, VentureBeat, FOSS award winner). 150+ products since, across DevOps, fintech, healthtech and AI tooling.
