I have an experience of 9 years working closely with my Upwork clients. The way I see it, these are the more crucial skills I bring to my clients and the projects I work on: • Ability to create high quality abstractions out of the universe of the problem my clients need to solve, which leads to high quality (readable, scalable, maintainable) source code. • Resourcefulness, knowledge and experience to scrape from the web the tools that will ease our job, meaning knowing where to find answers, libraries, modules, frameworks, APIs or whatever tool with potential to be helpful for our project. • Lots of experience in the process of learning and a great taste for it, meaning I am used to introduce new technologies, browse its documentation and source code if necessary to learn how to use integrate it and use it the best way, and I love doing so. In a more technical level, I want to highlight some tools and technologies I love to use: * python: I get to know python working on data science and neural networks personal projects, and I just love it. Testing all kind of python modules (music, web scrapping, stock pricing, data visualization, math, geometry,...) and writing jupyter notebooks is my hobby. * CakePHP: Definitely the framework I have more experience with. I love its organization and conventions, which helped my intuition to be more organized on my source code. * javascript with an special mention to jQuery: A lot of my abstraction skills were gained making jQuery- and eventually vanilla js- plugins, which is one of my greatest skills on tech level: the custom made javascript plugins. * Git: I love git, and I love meaningful commits, so you can expect a commitizen friendly repository for your project. * Docker: You can expect a dockerized application to speed up your devops. * Dependency management: You can expect depency management. I have experience on yarn and npm for javascript, composer for php and poetry for python, and if we get to need another for another language, I will just learn it :)
