Scott A.
Business & Operations Strategist | Street-Level Operator
I didn’t start in strategy rooms — I started inside small businesses where execution is messy, margins are thin, and problems show up every day. I’ve worked inside dental offices, hair salons, contractors, auto repair shops, and service businesses where systems don’t exist, people wear multiple hats, and follow-through is everything. I understand the daily grind of small business America because I lived it. I later climbed that experience into senior leadership, becoming a top-10 operator inside a large, complex organization. That gave me exposure to scale, financial rigor, governance, and decision-making where mistakes are visible and costly. My advantage is holding both ends of that spectrum at once. Most people are either street-smart operators or polished strategists. I’m both. I know how work actually happens on the ground, and I know how to design systems, priorities, and operating models that hold up as complexity increases. I’m not a career consultant and I’m not a hands-on coder. I’m a builder of operating clarity. I diagnose what’s really happening, help define the right strategy and priorities, and then stay involved until execution actually works — end to end, without friction. I build systems and technology by: diagnosing the real problem first choosing tools that fit how people actually work designing workflows that survive pressure and following through until the job is done I’m especially useful when: a business has outgrown its systems leadership needs clarity, not more tools strategy sounds right but execution keeps breaking someone needs a partner who understands both the shop floor and leadership seat If you’re looking for someone who’s only strategic or only tactical, I’m not the right fit. If you need someone who can see the whole field and step into the operation and make things better — that’s where I’m strongest.
