I come from a strong math background, including national and international competitions, and later studied Computer Science at UNAM. Around the same time, I started my career co-founding a consulting company, where I began building internet-based applications in the early days of the web, and later transitioned into mobile as smartphones became the dominant platform for real users. After the .com collapse, I continued working as an independent consultant, collaborating with different organizations such as Avaya, Microsoft, and Mexican Customs. Over more than 20 years, I have built a large number of web and mobile applications, and in recent years I've been focused mainly on cross-platform mobile products in both React Native and Flutter, mobile-first SaaS with iOS and Android clients, and consumer applications shipped to the App Store and Google Play. My experience goes from low-level programming (microcontrollers, assembly, Linux device drivers) to high-level mobile system design, including native module bridges, offline-first synchronization, background task scheduling, push notification pipelines, and AI-driven features running directly on device. My current stack covers both major cross-platform frameworks. On React Native and Expo I ship consumer apps end to end, with Supabase, Stripe, in-app purchases, native module integration, and OTA updates via EAS. On Flutter I work in Dart with the standard widget tree, Riverpod or BLoC for state depending on codebase complexity, Dio for networking, Freezed for immutable models, and platform channels when I need to bridge to native iOS or Android code directly. On the backend I use Laravel or Ruby on Rails when a full end-to-end delivery is needed. I've also led teams and worked as lead developer and mobile architect in multiple projects. I'm comfortable taking full ownership of a mobile product or integrating into an existing mobile team, and equally comfortable recommending React Native or Flutter based on what fits your product rather than what fits my habit. I focus on writing code that is clean, stable, and maintainable. The goal is not just to deliver an app that runs on the simulator, but one that keeps working in production, across a fragmented device base, through OS updates, and over years of iteration.
