Responsibilities: - • Managing and growing testing assets required for meeting the testing mandate: Team members, Testing tools, Testing processes, Hiring and Retaining skilled testing personnel. • Responsible for driving QA activities across the projects. • To provide management and technical leadership to the QA team, which include defining priorities for tasks, schedules, interfacing with engineering development groups to achieve successful delivery of the release. • Defining the testing scope after having discussion with development counter part. • Plan and document testing tasks. • Planning and creation of test design specifications, developing testing methods. • To ensure test coverage based on project risks and design considerations. • Interaction with various involved parties (Metrics Team, Technical Writers, HCI, Development Teams and Stake Holder) to ensure smooth rollout of the release. • Responsible for creation of various testing templates & processes, and the monitoring of test execution. • Work with the development team to identify and maintain test data sets. • Manage daily tasks of team's manual testing personnel. • Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that work is uniformly distributed. • Review manual tests and manual test execution results. • Performed Impact Analysis to identify Regression Test Cases. • Analyze test cycle results and communicate failures/problems to the project team. • Prepare release functional test summary report for project management. • Performed End to end testing and System testing of final build ready for UAT. • Coordinate with UAT mangers/Tester to ensure smooth rollout of the UAT. • Frequent status check meeting with the Team. • Responsible for building a team and managing objectives, execution and employee productivity.
