Acumatica GI Development, Excel Dashboards, QuickBooks QBAR
I build Acumatica Generic Inquiries (GIs) and Excel dashboards that refresh from live Acumatica data. Demos by module are in my portfolio. First demo, on Acumatica's sample company: one access question shows 60 users where a row count says 3,708. WHAT I DO I design and build Acumatica Generic Inquiries, expose them through OData, and connect Excel dashboards to them, so finance teams and controllers get answers in a workbook instead of waiting for a custom report. I also work with Acumatica consultants and partners who need a GI or dashboard built for their client. MODULES Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) and system security (users, roles, access). I add a demo to my portfolio for each module I publish. TYPICAL REQUESTS I HANDLE Build a Generic Inquiry for a finance or operations question and publish it to OData. Build an Excel dashboard on top of one or more GIs, with KPIs, filters and a clear layout. Fix a GI that returns repeated rows or totals that do not match. Report on Acumatica users, roles and screen access for access reviews. DEMONSTRATIONS (built on Acumatica's sample company, not client data) System security: a free Excel tool I built reads a GI of user permissions (read-only requests, with a login you type yourself) and produces a dated workbook that supports access reviews. The inquiry returns repeated copies of the same grants: 72,364 rows fetched, 66,239 kept, and the About sheet accounts for every row. It counts people, not rows: for one question a row count says 3,708, while the right answer is 60 users. Each run is saved with its date and time, so you can compare any two dates. HOW I WORK I start with the question you need answered, build the inquiry, then the dashboard, and walk you through it. I explain the numbers in plain language and show how each one was reached. ALSO AVAILABLE FOR QuickBooks Advanced Reporting (QBAR): custom reports and report packages. [One real QBAR result with a number.] HOW TO START Tell me the question you cannot answer easily today, and I will reply with how I would approach it.
