Asad A.
Educational Game Developer | Construct 3, HTML5 | 330+ Projects
I build browser-based educational games for children. Since 2015 I've delivered 330+ projects on Upwork and earned over $189,000 here, most of it learning games for edtech publishers, schools, and children's media brands. What I do: take a curriculum brief, a storyboard, or a pile of legacy Flash content, and turn it into a tested, deployable game — Construct 3 and HTML5 for browser and webview, Unity WebGL where a project calls for it. I work AI-assisted — Claude Code and Codex are part of my daily toolchain. That matters most on the unglamorous work: reading a codebase nobody has opened in five years, migrating legacy Flash, widening test coverage, turning a 200-page brief into a build plan. The design judgment stays mine; the tooling removes the slow parts. Beyond games, I automate the back office of small and mid-sized businesses, so routine work happens on time without anyone having to remember it. I build systems that sync invoices from your accounting software, follow up on overdue payments, onboard new customers or members over WhatsApp, check every morning that everything is still running and alert you only when something isn't, and publish products and content in bulk through APIs. If your team runs on WhatsApp and spreadsheets, I'll turn the repetitive parts into a system that is reliable, simple to use, and built so your own staff can run it. Work you may recognise: • Procter & Gamble — interactive training games built around business scenarios • Asafeer Education Technologies — 2D educational arcade games in Unity WebGL, embedded in mobile app webviews, running since 2021 • eSpark Learning — quarterly HTML5 game development for a US education platform • A K-5 curriculum game library: maths, spelling, sign language and coding logic, including NGSS-aligned science titles (K-PS2-1, K-LS1-1 and others) • Two dozen Flash educational games migrated to HTML5 across biology, astronomy, geography and dinosaur curricula — a specialism few developers still have I also research children's learning, which is why the games hold up pedagogically and not just technically: age-banding for 3+ and 7+, difficulty curves, and reward systems that suit the age they're built for. Core expertise: • Construct 3 and Construct 2 — single-player and multiplayer, including Photon • HTML5, JavaScript, Canvas, Phaser, CreateJS • Unity and Unity WebGL for 2D games • Flash to HTML5 migration • Business-process automation and API integrations: billing and payment follow-up, member onboarding, monitoring, content pipelines • Content databases behind game series — grade-level maths banks, question sets • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for game UI; After Effects for motion • Blockchain, NFT and wallet integration Playable examples: my portfolio below has them, and if you message me I'll send the two or three closest to your brief rather than a link dump. Tell me the learning outcome you need and the age you're building for, and I'll tell you what the game should do.
